Even if you have no desire to reel your own silk, this website is worth your time. I may never actually reel silk (though spinning it is glorious!) but I learned a huge amount from this website and it makes the technical details of historical textile study much easier to wrap my brain around. And the moths themselves are surprisingly beautiful.
